Polynucleotides

Advanced skin regeneration that works with your skin’s own repair process. Nurse-led, from £250.

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are injectable chains of purified DNA fragments that stimulate the skin’s own repair processes. Rather than filling or freezing, they prompt the skin to regenerate, improving quality, elasticity and hydration from within.

They have become particularly popular for the delicate skin under the eyes, where filler can be unforgiving. Results build gradually across a short course of sessions, and the improvement is in the quality of the skin rather than in its shape.

What it improves

Regenerative, not filling

Stimulates your skin's own repair rather than adding product volume.

CQC-registered clinic

Treatment delivered by a qualified nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience.

45-minute appointment

Numbing cream applied first, with minimal downtime afterwards.

Course of 2 to 3 sessions

A few weeks apart, with results building over the following months.

What to expect on the day

After numbing, the product is injected in small amounts across the treatment area. Under the eyes this is done with particular care. The treatment itself takes only a few minutes once you are numb.

Expect small bumps, mild swelling and occasionally a small bruise for a day or two. Avoid makeup and exercise for the rest of the day. Improvement is gradual, so we assess it properly at your review.

Questions, answered honestly

Purified DNA fragments, most commonly derived from salmon. The material is highly purified and used for its regenerative signalling properties.

No. Filler adds volume and gives an instant structural change. Polynucleotides work more slowly, improving the quality and resilience of the skin itself.

Yes, and this is one of the most common uses. The area is thin and delicate, and polynucleotides improve texture there without any risk of overfilling.

Usually two to three, a few weeks apart. Your consultation confirms the plan based on your skin and what you want to improve.

Most clients notice a change in skin quality from around four to six weeks, with continued improvement after the course finishes.

It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have a fish allergy, which is why a full medical history is taken first.
