Laser Hair Removal in Knightsbridge

Nurse-led laser hair removal for women and men using advanced 3D Trilogyice technology. Full body £180 per session.

What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal in Knightsbridge at A&S Aesthetics & Beauty is performed using the advanced 3D Trilogyice system. It combines Alexandrite, Diode and Nd:YAG wavelengths to target hair at different depths, allowing treatment settings to be personalised according to your skin tone, hair type and treatment area. Contact cooling helps keep the skin comfortable throughout treatment.

The laser directs controlled light towards pigment in the hair follicle. This energy is converted into heat, reducing the follicle’s ability to produce hair so regrowth becomes finer and sparser over time. Because hair grows in cycles, a course of treatments is normally required. Every client receives a consultation and patch test before their first full treatment.

What to expect on the day

Shave the area 24 hours before, and come with no fake tan or recent sun exposure. You will wear protective eyewear. Cooling gel is applied, and the handpiece is passed over the area in sections. Most clients describe it as a warm elastic-band snap.

Expect mild redness and slight bumpiness around the follicles for a few hours. Avoid heat, saunas, hot showers and exercise for 24 hours, and use sun protection on treated areas between sessions.

Questions, answered honestly

Typically six to eight, spaced several weeks apart, because the laser only affects hair in its active growth phase. Some areas and hair types need more.

Most clients describe a warm snap against the skin. It is quick, and cooling makes it manageable. Sensitive areas such as the upper lip and bikini feel sharper.

Suitability depends on your skinmtone and hair colour, and on the device settings used. We assess this at consultation and always patch test first. Very fair or grey hair responds poorly because there is little pigment for the laser to target.

Shave 24 hours before, avoid sun exposure and fake tan for two weeks beforehand, and do not wax or pluck between sessions, since the root needs to be present.

It gives long-term reduction rather than permanent removal. Most clients need occasional maintenance sessions after completing a course.

From £20 per session, depending on the area. Larger areas cost more, and we will price your specific plan at consultation.
