Laser Hair Removal

Long-lasting smooth skin for face and body, with plans matched to your skin and hair type. From £45.

What is laser hair removal?

Laser hair removal directs concentrated light at the pigment in the hair follicle. The energy is absorbed and converted to heat, damaging the follicle so that it produces finer, sparser hair over time. It is a long-term alternative to shaving and waxing.

Because hair grows in cycles and the laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase, a course of sessions is always needed rather than a single treatment. Your plan is matched to your skin tone and hair type at consultation, and a patch test is carried out before your first full session.

Course of 6 to 8 sessions

Spaced several weeks apart, following your natural hair growth cycle.

What to expect on the day

Shave the area 24 hours before, and come with no fake tan or recent sun exposure. You will wear protective eyewear. Cooling gel is applied, and the handpiece is passed over the area in sections. Most clients describe it as a warm elastic-band snap.

Expect mild redness and slight bumpiness around the follicles for a few hours. Avoid heat, saunas, hot showers and exercise for 24 hours, and use sun protection on treated areas between sessions.

Questions, answered honestly

Typically six to eight, spaced several weeks apart, because the laser only affects hair in its active growth phase. Some areas and hair types need more.

Most clients describe a warm snap against the skin. It is quick, and cooling makes it manageable. Sensitive areas such as the upper lip and bikini feel sharper.

Suitability depends on your skinmtone and hair colour, and on the device settings used. We assess this at consultation and always patch test first. Very fair or grey hair responds poorly because there is little pigment for the laser to target.

Shave 24 hours before, avoid sun exposure and fake tan for two weeks beforehand, and do not wax or pluck between sessions, since the root needs to be present.

It gives long-term reduction rather than permanent removal. Most clients need occasional maintenance sessions after completing a course.

From £45 per session, depending on the area. Larger areas cost more, and we will price your specific plan at consultation.
